Be Quiet and Let God Fight for You by Mikayla Halsell

So Jefferson Bethke is probably one of my favorite pastors for several reasons. He's relateable, actually in our generation (not some 50 year old, not that 50-year-olds aren't super wise and whatnot), and he makes great points that are really convicting.
One of his most recent posts is about how we need to stop worrying, be quiet, and let God work. He uses the example of the Israelites when they were freaking out as they were leaving Egypt and had just reached the Red Sea. They actually said that they would rather have stayed in captivity than be rescued by God. Crazy. Well God's response was pretty crazy too. He said,

“Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

That's pretty awesome. God actually says that He'll fight for us. All we have to do is be silent. That just shows how faithful God is all the time and that all we have to do is trust in Him because God will come through and work for us. WORK FOR US. Take a second to comprehend that. GOD, THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, THE ALMIGHTY, AND ALL-POWERFUL GOD, will work for us and fight for us. All we have to do is trust in Him. That's it. Crazy, right?
So take a couple of minutes to read what Jefferson Bethke has to say about it, too. He has some great insight that has convicted me on a number of levels.

Why God just wants you to be quiet- by Jefferson Bethke
