Generic Villain #7 By Robert Cohan

Marvel movies are great with likable heroes, great comedy and compelling story. But most marvel movies today have one great flaw, villains. The villain is always just some generic person who wants to destroy the world, make millions of dollars or release some monster. They also don’t have interesting powers, usually just a carbon copy of the hero. A great example of this is Ant Man. Ant Man has incredible comedy, amazing story and likable main characters. But the villain is just a guy who wants to make money (so evil) and has The same powers as Ant Man with some lasers thrown in for good measure. He has no real motives other than money, no story and nothing to make him memorable. Of course Marvel has made good villains with War Monger (Black Panther) and Vulture (Spider Man: Homecoming).
